Teoh & Co LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Benedict Tan as Director, where he will lead the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Litigation practice.

Mr Tan brings with him over 23 years of experience in the legal industry, with a strong track record in advising and representing clients on complex corporate and commercial matters. Prior to joining Teoh & Co LLC, he served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Stamford Land Corporation Limited until 2023.

Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Buckingham and a Master of Science in Risk Management, Operations and Regulations from the University of Reading. He was admitted to the UK Bar in 1997 and has been a qualified Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since 1998.

His professional experience includes more than 14 years advising SGX-listed companies, with particular expertise in matters involving REITs, private equity, debt funds, and family offices. Mr Tan has also advised clients across a broad range of industries, including property development, real estate investment, hospitality, shipping, FMCG, food manufacturing, and food retail.

Mr Tan is well-versed in regulatory and compliance matters, including SGX Listing Rules, fund management and capital markets services licensing requirements, the Code of Collective Investment Schemes, the Code of Corporate Governance, the Companies Act, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), as well as other key legislation and regulatory frameworks.
